Be more than just a driver at Birmingham Charter Service, be a Road Ambassador. We are seeking uniquely qualified individuals to join our team and promote an exemplary transportation service brand.


Road Ambassadors will receive:

  • Paid phase training for CDL Class A or B and permit holders obtaining a P-endorsement (must meet minimum qualification requirements)
  • $500 sign-on incentive after completing 6 months operating with no discrepancies
  • $1,000 milestone incentive after completing 1 year operating with no discrepancies
  • Full time employment opportunities after 1 year dedicated service with no discrepancies

Minimum Qualification Requirements


Road Ambassador Candidates must:

  • Have High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
  • Be at least 25 years of age
  • Have at least 5 years professional driving experience
  • Possess quality customer service skills and a pleasant demeanor
  • Be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Complete an evaluation and application with 10 year work history
  • Provide a clean MVR
  • Provide proof of legal U.S. residency
  • Possess a valid CDL w/ Class A/B w/P endorsement, with air brakes
  • Pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug-screen
  • Pass a criminal background check


Training Candidates must:

  • Have High School Diploma or GED Equivalency

  • Have at least 7 years safe driving experience
  • Possess quality customer service skills and a pleasant demeanor
  • Be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Complete an evaluation and application with 10 year work history
  • Provide a clean MVR
  • Provide proof of legal U.S. residency
  • Possess a valid CDL permit w/ Class A/B w/P endorsement, with air brakes
  • Pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug-screen
  • Pass a criminal background check


Duties & Responsibilities


Candidates must:

  • Be able to operate motor coach units on both interstate and           intrastate routes
  • Communicate any mechanical problems to supervisors and shop technicians
  • Perform safety checks and inspections on motor coach units         authorized for use
  • Be able to work with people to assess their needs and fulfill their requests
  • Be able to resolve issues with or without office personnel assistance
  • Complete forms and paperwork required by company and Federal guidelines
  • Be able to bend, squat, and/or lift up to 50 lbs
  • Be able to work and act professionally in highly attentive situations
  • Be able to sit or stand for long periods as required to perform given tasks
  • Be flexible and willing to travel for multi-day charters/tours/trips
  • Be able to stay overnight as required by scheduling
  • Be able to work days, nights, weekends and/or holidays, or special days
